RECOMMENDATIONS ON USE OF CO2-EXTRACTS WHEN MANUFACTURING MULTIPURPOSE FLAVORED SPICY SALTS

Depending on used properties of CO2-extracts, salts can be as follows: treatment-and-preventive for internal application, for bath, massage, compress, smelling and of mixed type. The main effective component of the offered salts is the CO2-extract.
A special attention should be given blends and mixtures of CO2-extracts, because unification of properties of several extracts extends range of products,
range of action, and many of them also strengthen action of each other.
Many salts with CO2-extracts are multipurpose, i.e. being food, can be used for baths, inhalations, rinsing of mouth and throat. It is useful to inhale them over weakly heated salt for sanitation and deodorization of respiratory tract, to use locally as acupressure (it is known that a soft salt massage resulting in micro-damages of skin, as well as giving skin a part of the adsorbed CO2-extract in microdozes at a cellular level, influences hypodermic tissue well).

Availability of basic substances. Expected effect of application of the salt with the specified CO2-extract
Chilli pepper 0.001- 0.02 Contains: alkaloid-like amine-capsaicin, essential oils, carotenoids, steroid saponins, ascorbic acid, etc. Locally-irritating effect with a rush of blood and activation of blood circulation that promotes strengthening exchange processes (in small dozes strengthens digestion), removes painful syndromes, raises tonus of ambient tissue.
Leaf of bay laurel 0.02 - 0.06 Contains: essential oils (in its basis are cineole, geraniol, eugenol, methyl-eugenol), fatty acids (lauric, palmitic, linolenic), flavonoids, tannic and bitter substances, chlorophyll.
It has effects: bactericidal, stimulating gastroenteric activity, anti-inflammatory.
Irritates peripheral nervous endings, initiates rush of blood to the places contacting with the extract.
For aromatic baths: during cold, cough, weariness.
As a smelling salt for sanitation of
respiratory tract, etc.
Black pepper 0.06 - 0.5 Contains: essencial oils and alkaloid of piperine, havacine, fatty acids, etc. Stimulates appetite, shows strong antibacterial action.
Coriander (seeds) 0.5 - 1.0 Contains: linalool, pinene, cymene,
fatty acids - oleic, etc.
Improves digestion, acts as choleretic, anti-haemorrhoidal and antiseptic remedy.
Fennel (seeds) 0.5 - 1.5 Contains: non-saturated ketone - d-carvone, limonene, dihydrocarvone, fatty acids - oleinic, petrozeline, linoleic, etc.,
spirits, fatty oil.
It has a tonic effect, antibacterial (of a wide spectrum), calming central nervous system effect, strengthening secretory function of digestive glands and peristalsis of intestines action.
Parsley (seeds) 0.04 - 2.0 Contains: Essencial (apiole) oils, fatty acids, carotenoids, tocopherols. The basic therapeutic action is due to flavonoids. Gives diuretic (at oedemas of cordial origin), choleretic action.
Strengthens secretion of digestive glands.
It is a very good remedy for face skin, rejuvenates and bleaches the skin.
Nutmeg 0.001 - 0.1 Consists mainly of terpene
hydrocarbons, eleven fatty
acids.
Small amount in a food causes weakly irritating effect on kidneys increasing diuresis, improves appetite and exchange processes.
Rosehip 0.01 - 0.1 The big content of tocopherols with
carotenoids and other bioactive substances makes the product irreplaceable in children's cookery.
CO2-extract of rosehip adjusts synthesis of haemoglobin, is a powerful antioxidant,
protects membranes of cells against influence of metabolites.
Celery (seeds)0.01 - 2.0 The richest composition (more than half essencial oils, furocoumarins, asparagine, vitamin C, carotin) provides most salutary influence on an organism.
Most ancient fragrant and flavour additive always considered also medical, especially for older persons: improves appetite, is diuretic and choleretic, as well as anticancerogenic remedy.

CO2-extracts are natural, non-polluting, very powerful and effective biostimulants distinguished from others by the fact that they contain together with the large amount of physiologically active substances, the groups of accompanying systems strengthening action of bioactive substances (BAS), protecting them against every possible harmful change and possessing a prolonged action for the BASs. Practically all CO2-extracts have anti-inflammatory properties and strengthen secretory functions of an organism. Internal treatment-and-prophylactic application of CO2-extracts in small amounts when additional salting any kinds of food, improves general state of health: treats internal digestive and secretory systems clearing an organism of slags, peroxides, radicals, etc.

SUBCRITICAL CO2-EXTRACTS FOR BATH AND AROMATIC SALTS

Depending on the properties of the added CO2-extracts, salts can be as used both internally (for treatment and preventive actions) and externally (for bath, massage and compresses). The main active component of the offered salts is the CO2-extract.

A special attention should be given to blends and mixtures of subcritical CO2-extracts, as combination of properties of several extracts extends both the range of products and the range of action. Moreover, many of them also strengthen the favourable effects of each other.

Many salts with added subcritical CO2-extracts are multipurpose, i.e. may be used not only for food, but also for baths, inhalations, rinsing of mouth and throat. When used for inhalations, warm or heated salts have sanitising and deodorizing effects on the respiratory tracts. Alternatively, salts with added CO2-extracts may be used in acupressure. It is known that a soft salt massage results in skin micro-damages thus giving the skin the adsorbed CO2-extracts on a cellular level and giving a favourable overall influence on hypodermic tissue.

Subcritical CO2-extracts are 100% natural, non-polluting and are very powerful and effective biostimulants. What distinguishes them from other types of extracts is that subcritical CO2-extracts contain large amounts of physiologically active substances. These components include certain complementary groups that strengthen the effect of bioactive substances while prolonging their actions and protecting them from external harmful conditions.

Almost all CO2-extracts have anti-inflammatory properties and have strengthening effect on secretory functions of the organism. When adding small amounts of CO2 extracts with salt to any kind of food they have good prophylactic effect and improve the overall health.
